ReadyRemit v1 2022-08-22

Our release notes are used to share information on what has been changed as well as what those changes mean to our users.

Transfer cancellation- We have added the ability to cancel a transaction easily, no questions asked, if done within 30 minutes.

Added Endpoints-

  • Create Sender- This operation creates a sender record.
  • Update Sender- This operation updates an entire sender record.
  • Get Recipient Account Fields- Given a corridor, this operation returns the required and optional fields for a recipient record. See Custom fields.

Added fields- We have added fields to the Get Transfer Endpoint. The newly added fields include

  • Name and Address- This would be the name and address of the customer.
  • Transfer creation date- The date the transaction was created.
  • Transfer availability date- This is the date on which the funds will be available. This is different than the SLA Delivery. While the SLA Delivery shows in terms of text when funds are available such as Same Business Date or Next Business Date. The date available is calculated by adding SLA Delivery to the transaction creation date.
  • Quote- This gives the amount, including the transfer, fees, and total.
  • Destination Country- The country of the transfer receiver.

Field Sorting- Added field sorting for GET endpoints. All fields returned from the GET endpoints will be sorted.

New Labels- Added labels in the API response bodies for the following endpoints: Create/Update/Get Sender, Create/Update/Get Recipient, Create/Update/Get Recipient Account, and Create/Get Transfer.

ISO2- We have added Iso2Code to country objects. International Organization for Standardization (ISO) codes represent countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest. You can find a list of countries and their appropriate ISO2 and IOS3 codes on our ISO page.

New Text Inputs-

  • Input Bank Name fields have been added to all corridors that don't require bank names. This allows the user to input a bank name if it is not one of the IBAN corridors we already have built-in.
  • Added input text ability for Japan and Korea. This changed from a dropdown format to input text for recipient address state (*only for JPN and KOR)

New requirements (*only for Japan users)-

  • The Recipient Address is required for Japan
  • The Purpose of Remittance is required for Japan
